Poll Next Tesla

Could a kid in a garage still build the next Tesla – or is that dream dead?

Every builder starts the same way: with nothing but an idea and the nerve to try it.

The wagon becomes the assembly line. The garage becomes a small office. The small office becomes the bell ringing at the Nasdaq. It’s the oldest story in America – and it’s the reason you have a job, a phone, a car, and a hospital down the street.

But somewhere along the way, a lot of young people stopped believing that story is still available to them. They’ve decided the garage is a museum piece – that today you need the right degree, the right connections, the right permission before you’re allowed to build anything.

We don’t think that’s true. We want to know if you do.
